Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or the EU-US/UK-US Data Privacy Frameworks, to ensure your data receives an equivalent standard of protection under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.

If you cancel your subscription: your account and Service Data remain accessible to you if you choose to reactivate, we do not automatically delete anything on cancellation. If your account stays cancelled and inactive for an extended period (24 months or more), we reserve the right to archive, anonymise, or delete the associated data, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email beforehand where possible.

If we cease operating Busyleo entirely (rather than an individual account cancelling), the underlying technology platform we rely on to provide the Services will retain account data for up to 90 days following discontinuation, after which it may be permanently deleted.

Billing and transaction records are kept for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law, currently up to 6 years, regardless of account cancellation.

Your Rights

If you are in the UK, EU, or another region with applicable data protection laws, you may have the right to:

- Access, correct, or delete your personal data;

- Restrict or object to our processing of it;

- Request data portability;

- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
